FAQs

You may be asking yourself, how does this work?

Here are just a few common questions regarding home care and private duty nursing. Our team is also available to speak with you and explore solutions for your specific needs.

Private Duty Companion/Personal Care

Private duty is typically “non-medical,” meaning care can be provided by home health aides and is supervised by a registered nurse. Our Home Care Providers can assist with “Activities of Daily Living”– such as bathing, dressing, grooming, using the bathroom, feeding and assistance in walking or moving. Private duty care can also include home management tasks, like housework and pet care.

Not always. Our Home Care Specialist will be happy to schedule a consultation to discuss your specific needs. If it is determined that you only require non-medical care, no referral is needed.

In most cases, Private Duty Home Care is paid out of pocket by the client and/or their loved ones. Home Care, Recharged does not bill insurance carriers. Our Billing Department is happy to prepare documents for those clients who may wish to seek reimbursement from their carrier, as applicable.
